Dr. April Smith, Instructional Supervisor

Lee County Middle School West is a wonderful place to learn and grow, and I am fortunate to be the Instructional Supervisor for this campus. My name is April Smith and I spent over a dozen years in the middle school classroom prior to moving into administration. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Central Florida in English Language Arts Education with a Teaching English as a Second Language endorsement. I earned my masters of education degree from Georgia Southwestern State University in Curriculum and Instruction. I earned my doctorate of education degree from Columbus State University in Curriculum and Leadership. I originally pursued a career in education because I love learning and it is my hope that I can inspire others to learn, grow, and better themselves through education.
